The most rewarding project I have been involved with since getting into this business is without a doubt the "Sing Me Back Home" CD for which I was Production Coordinator. The CD featured an all-star line-up of New Orleans musicians who had lost everything in Katrina. We made the record in Austin TX in October, only 6 weeks after the storm, tracking 13 songs in 7 days. Here is an epk about the project. The CD was released on Sony Burgundy on April 4 worldwide. The band also taped Austin City Limits which aired in October 2006, and they appeared at the Austin City Limits Festival on Sept 17th. Please check out the CD, proceeds from the sale will benefit 3 local New Orleans charities. An article from Mix Magazine about the recording can be found here.

What do we listen to here at Sound Advice?
Well these days we are lovin' the online personal radio found at www.last.fm
They completed an extensive overhaul of their site, great concept and a great way for indie artists to get their music heard. |

| We are also tuning in to Rhapsody a lot as well, a great place to hear new releases. It's a great subscription service, and the artists are getting royalties on every play and the majority of the income on every track sold. | ||||||||||||||||
