Linnzi Zaorski

New Birth Brass Band

One of the most sought after percussionists in the music industry. Whether recording, touring or kickin' it up a notch w/ Emeril Lagasse, his funky rhythms and assortment of traditional and unusual percussion instruments are always a crowd pleaser.

An only-in-New Orleans amalgamation, the Tin Men live shows offer a woozy, bluesy, charming carnival romp, rendered with the unconventional combination of washboard, guitar and sousaphone. W/ Washboard Chaz, Alex MacMurray and Bonerama's Matt Perrine.

Take the enthusiasm and playfulness of early New Orleans rhythm and blues, add to that the bright yet cynical wit of Ben Folds Five, the rock meets jazz sensibilities of early Steely Dan, and the mocking humor that runs through the works of Professor Longhair, and you begin to describe the music of Davis Rogan!

Since Paul Sanchez stepped out on his own after 16 years with Cowboy Mouth, he has been traveling all over the United States. His latest way to do it is with his Rolling Road Show, and just like on the album, everyone gets their turn in the spotlight.

Sometime back in the dark ages, jazz music used to be fun, full of sex and sin. Linnzi Zaorski and her band Delta Royale seem intent on bringing back the cheery lustfulness, and in the broad field of New Orleans Jazz artists she is an extreme breath of fresh air.

"The New Birth's members are all virtuosos who mix elements of blues, ragtime, gospel, funk, soul, rock and traditional Crescent City jazz into their sound." Richard Skelly, allmusic guide
